coming home was the best feeling ever. it still is. i missed the overcast days and the quiet sun.
the records i bought were all reissues which i usually avoid, cause i like the feeling of playing something that someone's already listened to and i feel like i'm being trendy or something buying new ones. eh. plus its cheaper finding old ones. anyway, i got

It's starting to get dark out at night and I'm dreading school. Or really just the people there. Although I am signing up for a lot of art classes to distract me.
I'm being boring and talking about weather and routines but bear with me until i get back into the eh, feeling of blogging. I actually do have some good things to post! But now I'm practically falling asleep in my chair..

I don't think i'll get my film till late August or early September and I'm kinda bummed i have to wait so long. I hate posting these High-Res Digital pictures. It makes me feel like a dad who has just discovered the wonders of the digital age and bought himself the best camera he can find/is told there is. (Not that there's anything wrong with that. Most of those I've met have been friendly..)

Pietrasanta is lush wonderful and hot. People are generous and mostly happy.
I still think Norway is more beautiful though.
It was such a relief to get on a plane full of Norwegians after not understanding a word of Italian anywhere i went. I felt like everyone on the plane was my family.

Be back in 10 days. Lots of Edith Piaf on the plane I'm guessing, La Vie en Rose has been in my head all day. I wanted to preset some posts, but I waited till last minute and now i haven't the time to do so. Lots of pictures when I'm back! Adieu for now...

Jules et Jim!

My mind can't really take in or put out much lately but I'm still able to take/look at photos etc. etc. summer stuff. I don't wanna write formally at all. Oh I'm also able to intensely enjoy music without its presence fading into background noise. Kinda miss New York (City). Could care less about being back Upstate. Photos above sum up these past days.. Kids and Water. Bored of posting my own work for now.

I went Riding with my cousin today and we went swimming in a river with our horses and got completely soaked. I took some portraits of her later, horseless, by a waterfall. Pretty blonde Norwegian kid. Hope I can find some B&W film around here or in an airport for when I go to Italy Saturday.. I'm starting to run out.
